Hailing from Sydney’s Northern Beaches, Lara moved to the Byron Bay hinterland in 1995, driven by a deep love for the ocean and the surrounding natural landscapes.
Passionate about sustainability and living closely with nature, her background in Horticulture, Permaculture and Conservation informs and inspires to create biodiverse, living water sanctuaries, using native plantings and designs that mimic freshwater ecosystems and support local wildlife.
